Where the entire amount of the Calcasieu Parish Library project funds came in after one year, Shreve's funding begins the first year and will be distributed over the next 10 years. Insurance: Jim Pelton reported that the Library's liability and workers comp insurance expires on May 31. Dave Landrum from Alexander & Alexander had presented the Library new insurance quotes for the period June 1, 1996 to May 31, 1997. CAN was the lowest quote with a total premium of $65,231.00. The quote is approximately $2000 lower than last year. (See attached Summary of Premiums.)
